With its garden-inspired colors and woodsy-rustic decor, Modern Grove lets nature shine throughout the space while adding modern comforts and finishes from the entrance to the patio. With seating for 70 guests inside and 40 more on the patio, there’s plenty of room for an intimate meal or for large groups. A 360 look around the eatery reveals locally-made tables crafted from 150-year-old barnwood, hip ice-pick lighting fixtures, cream-colored subway tiles, large open windows and the centerpiece of Modern Grove; a 225 sq ft. community calendar wall where neighbors, teams and local organizations can pick up a piece of chalk and help keep their fellow Flagstaff-ians up-to-date on the latest happenings in the community.
Made from scratch and crafted by Chef Gio Osso, Modern Grove serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with coffee, local beers and boutique wines. A.M. munchers will enjoy eggs & hash, breakfast sandwiches and burritos with a cup of joe. Daytime and evening diners can enjoy a hand-crafted organic salad, sandwich or hot panini, Niman Ranch burger or a gourmet Modern Grove pizza. Grazers who simply want to hang out and enjoy the scenery or company of a friend can sip wines, beers and nibble on chips & hummus, fresh-made pretzels or a spread of cured salumi and cheeses.
Time-crunched patrons can grab ‘n go with ready-to-eat bites, ground coffee, fresh juices and gourmet sundries. If home cooking is what you seek but dread the prep and clean up, the market’s take-away meals for the family make everyday togetherness possible. And that’s what Modern Grove is all about.
